In this age, there is too much going on that I absolutely despise. Generative AI, deepfakes, doomscrolling, short-form content, constant ads and a lack of personality. Even videos made by non-companies are hidden ads or sponsored content. Everything is always trying to sell something.
Despite being in a subculture that has coined a "mass-produced" look, creativity and a unique sense of self is still highly valued. Every second of my life is dedicated to trying to be as authentic as I can.
It is easier to do so online, so I will optimize my available resources as my form of rebellion
